It's a wrap: Our Year 2022

Our HR Marketing Year in Review

The year is coming to an end and we look back on the last 12 months. A year full of highlights, people and events. And that's exactly what we want to share with you.

We shine in a new look

New year, new look. In 2022, we went out with a bang. Since this year, we have been appearing with a fresh design and a new employer message. A people company. Driven by technology. That is our mindset. We are a technology-driven company that focuses on people. To bring our technical challenges to life for you, we launched our second HR marketing campaign in the fall. With the question "And what's your challenge?" our four techtimonials told you about their tech challenges at OTTO.

Events, events and more events

After two years full of online and hybrid events, we were finally able to exchange ideas in person again and connect at numerous events! Whether Code.talks, IT Career Summit, PwC Gaming Cup, we.tech Innovation Slam, Tech Talks or our Future Evening - we were there! You missed the events? New working worlds

The pandemic has also left its mark on us - in a positive sense: Our teams now decide for themselves where and how they work together. This allows our colleagues from all over Germany to work remotely. Since fall, the choice of work location has become even more flexible. Workation enables our colleagues to work from other European countries under certain conditions. This means that from now on, work and vacation can be combined.

Our Tech Job Matcher

As one of Hamburg's largest employers, we see it as our responsibility to assist young adults in their career orientation with a variety of support services. Our latest guide: the Tech Jobmatcher. An orientation tool that, based on 27 quick questions, recommends jobs, internships or apprenticeships within our tech teams that best match your interests and skills. With this, we want to make the process of finding a job within the many jobs easier for you.
