Fit and balanced at work:

Health at OTTO

Health as the key to success

Health concerns us all and is a decisive factor in whether and how well we can work. Whether through medical care, sports activities or stress management programs - we offer all our colleagues comprehensive opportunities to stay fit and balanced.

From occupational safety to company sports

Currently, 17 colleagues from our health management, occupational medicine and occupational safety departments ensure that we receive the best possible support and can work in a safe and healthy working environment. The company doctors provide occupational health care, carry out voluntary health checks and vaccinations and advise on ergonomic working conditions. In the event of personal and professional challenges, a psychosocial counseling center is available to help us develop coping strategies together.

At the same time, health management provides preventative measures that are tailored to the individual needs of our colleagues. These include strategies for dealing with stress, developing healthy routines, courses and our company sports section to promote physical health. Our work-life portal (WLP), which was created in cooperation with our health partner "Die Techniker", provides all colleagues with a platform that deals with exercise, nutrition, mindfulness and resilience.

Small habits, big impact - how to improve your well-being in everyday life:

  1. A good night's sleep works wonders. Reduce your time in front of screens at least an hour beforehand and find a sleep rhythm that you can stick to.
  2. Have you spent a lot of time sitting down? Then take a walk and get some exercise.
  3. If you're feeling emotionally exhausted, take a moment to take deep, long breaths. Mindfulness exercises and meditation can also help to reduce stress and find more peace.
  4. If you spend a lot of time with people in your everyday life, find a quiet environment at home and relax by listening to music or podcasts.
