Frauke is an HR Manager in HR Marketing and responsible for training marketing. What exactly is behind this and what tips Frauke has, more about this in the interview.
I started working in HR at OTTO while I was still studying to become a communications specialist. After finishing my studies, I moved to Consumer PR as a press officer for two years and then came back to HR Marketing. As a consultant, I am responsible for training marketing, among other things, and therefore feel "pretty close" to Generation Y (and Z). I get to work intensively with OTTO trainees and dual students on several projects, e.g. with the bloggers of our trainee blog or the AsiN team, which makes me very happy and makes my job exciting every day!
The team spirit, the collaboration with colleagues and the fact that I work for a great e-commerce company.
I recommend that students inform themselves well about the company before the interview. It's not about memorizing sales figures, but about developing a feeling for what we do here at OTTO. An intensive look at our careers page, the trainee blog or our social media channels helps here. In the interview itself, it's important to me that the applicants have dealt with their own personalities and are authentic, i.e. that they don't pretend and present themselves as they are. And if they don't wear a black suit in everyday life, they don't have to put it on especially for the interview!
With enthusiasm and a meaningful, honest answer as to why the applicant has chosen OTTO as an employer.
