We are not only a technology-driven but also a human-centric company. That's why it's important to us that our employees can get involved in communities and networks with a great deal of commitment.
Our communities are designed to help our colleagues share and network. Our communities and networks provide a platform for issues that are close to their hearts and that they want to advance out of a sense of professional, social, or community responsibility. We encourage this involvement and support collaboration. Showing attitude and living values - that's what we stand for at OTTO.
There are different orientations: From Social Communities to Business & Tech Communities to our Sustainability Network - here our colleagues find many opportunities to get involved.
Our goal: Equal development opportunities at every age and positive generational diversity.
We advocate for the interests and visibility of LGBTIQ* people and provide a point of contact.
We want child and career. Therefore, we offer exchange of experience and knowledge transfer.
We are committed to equal professional opportunities for all genders.
We want to strengthen the product management mindset in the Otto Group and network the product people.
We offer the possibility of networking and exchange with colleagues on the topic of sustainability.
The #experienced network is committed to fair development opportunities for all generations. We initiate measures for cross-generational cooperation and promote life-phase-oriented generation management. The individual projects are diverse; they are small and larger, practical and strategic. Active engagement creates many opportunities for company-wide networking.
#experienced was founded in 2017 and includes a core team consisting of eight members, as well as over 400 allies and followers.
As a queer network at OTTO, MORE* advocates for the interests and visibility of LGBTIQ* people and for a prejudice-free approach to sexual identity throughout the Otto Group. It is our goal to be an integral part of the Group-wide diversity activities and to be known internally among employees as a point of contact. In this way, we can take a stand both internally and externally and actively advocate for a prejudice-free approach to LGBTIQ* issues on the job.
We want to contribute to an open and safe corporate culture for queer people. To this end, we come together in regular meetings, draw attention to LGBTIQ* issues in Otto Group branches worldwide and drive our own projects forward. All colleagues are always welcome to participate in our work. We are proud to work together to create an attractive company that clearly positions itself externally in favor of diversity and against discrimination.
More* was founded in 2019 and consists of 450 supporters.
Väter@OTTO is an initiative for the exchange of experience & knowledge transfer. We want child and career. When it comes to reconciliation, the influence of the direct manager is crucial. We need more understanding that top performance does not only mean full-time and that parental leave is not a vacation. We want parental leave, part-time for managers/men and equal pay to be perceived as significant assets. It only works #together: Väter@OTTO is a platform open to all.
The community stands for active fatherhood and career development based on partnership. In doing so, we want to highlight the benefits for all genders, get more fathers on parental leave for longer, better reconcile family and career, and make alternative family models but also challenges visible.
Everyone* is welcome to join us. There are various formats for impulses and discussions. We are particularly proud of our role model campaign, which we did together with Plan F and Corporate Communications in 2021. We won the Diversity Dad Award for it.
Väter@OTTO was founded in 2016 and today consists of 220 members.
PLAN F is us - people at OTTO and the Otto Group companies . As a voluntary community, we are committed to equal professional opportunities for all genders. We are concerned with topics such as financial independence, the gender pay gap, women in leadership, women in IT, returning from parental leave and careers in all walks of life. We are also working on projects, formats and impulses for more training opportunities and early promotion.
We regularly exchange ideas with our patron Katy Roewer and also with the other Otto networks. We are proud that we have already been able to initiate and implement many events (including develop <her>, Madame Moneypenny lecture, Allbright Foundation etc), panels and many internal projects.
Plan F was founded in 2016 and comprises 50 active members and more than 500 supporters.
The goal of the Product Pioneers is to advance product management throughout the company. We organize regular events as an offer to further educate yourself in the context of "product management" or to exchange experiences. It doesn't matter whether you work as a product manager, are part of a product team or its stakeholders, or work as a manager in this context. We see our impulses as "product management snacks for in between", which, in contrast to conferences or training courses, are easier to integrate into everyday working life.
For regular exchanges outside of the events, we use various channels to share product management content and news from the community.
Want to join us? Feel free to get in touch! We are proud to regularly reach over 100 participants with our formats - but would love to do even more together with you.
Product Pioneers has been in existence since 2019 and consists of approximately 600 members.
Contact persons are: Sina Holzberger, Hendrikje Jungandreas, David Behlich, Michael Gravert, Stella Fittje
All colleagues who are interested in the topic of sustainability can come together in the GOOD Community, exchange ideas, plan events and get suggestions on how to make their private or professional environment more sustainable. In addition, we regularly provide a wide range of information and interesting facts about sustainability in general and in the Otto Group, thus creating transparency for our colleagues.
We are particularly proud of the "GOOD Community Lunch" format. We created this in the pandemic - a lunch format (approx. every 8-10 weeks), in which we educate about sustainability topics, invite experts from internal or external sources and get into conversation or discussion with our colleagues.
Good Community was founded in 2018. Currently, more than 440 colleagues from various Otto Group companies are involved.
