Hello Kendra, tell us something about yourself.
I'm Kendra and I trained as a wholesale and export merchant at OTTO. During this time, I got to know many different areas of the company and found out that recruitment is the right place for me.
What makes OTTO special for you?
OTTO combines the characteristics of a family business with those of a modern, successful e-commerce company. That's what makes the work here so diverse, varied and also enjoyable. I really enjoy coming to work every day and am always thrilled by the great teamwork we have here!
Dos and Don'ts: What do you recommend applicants do during an interview? What do you pay particular attention to?
The most important thing is to be yourself! Be authentic and honest, that's the best way for us to get to know you. However, a little preparation never hurts. Take a close look at the job profile, make a note of any questions that arise and think about why we need you at OTTO. However, this does not mean that you should list the "classic" strengths and weaknesses. Instead, take a look at your personality and think about which characteristics make you particularly valuable to us. It is also helpful at this point if you can give us a few examples of situations in which people experience you according to your qualities.
Insider tip: How can you convince people in an interview?
With motivation and enthusiasm - whether for a project, the job or something else. But don't forget to remain authentic and reflective.
