About me

I've been working as a Data Scientist in OTTO’s Dynamic Pricing team for over four years now. When I joined the team I focused on classic data-science tasks such as implementing ML-based demand forecasts, figuring out new pricing algorithms and bringing A/B testing capabilities into our application. I'm still passionate about these aspects of our pricing service, although my task scope has broadened with time. As a part of a cross-functional team, today I enjoy dealing with pure software-engineering tasks, operations and IT security matters as well.

It further describes how we successfully built the service as a robust and scalable cloud application able to deliver prices for millions of articles on a daily basis.
