Company visit
For schools with a STEM profile, we offer company visits from year 10. Our apprentice job ambassadors will show you around our campus and answer all your questions about the apprenticeship/ dual study program. If you are interested, your teacher is welcome to send an email to brfsrntrngttd to arrange an appointment for your class/profile. Of course, we are currently also finding a virtual solution.

School internship/ trial date
The majority of our internships are awarded to children or relatives of our employees. The remaining places are highly sought after, so we recommend applying 6 months in advance. Alternatively, you can find out more about training at OTTO at one of our taster sessions.

Actually, you're pretty sure which profession you want to apply for. But a look at the OTTO apprenticeships shows you that there are many more and you are now asking yourself: should I learn IT with a focus on application development or rather with a focus on system integration? And is my interest in online shopping enough for me to apply for e-commerce management?

Who we look for
We have suitable offers for all school-leaving qualifications. We are looking for aspiring cooks as well as students who are interested in a commercial apprenticeship or a dual study program with an IT focus. You'll fit in if you're open-minded, have lots of ideas of your own, and are committed. You should want to work with us every day to make otto.de a little bit better - a digital understanding and the ability to work in a team are therefore important for all jobs.
Starter days
Every year in August we look forward to the 'starters' - our trainees and dual students who experience their first days at OTTO together intensively as part of the Onboarding Days. Apprentices and dual students from all apprenticeship programs and courses of study come together here, get to know OTTO, network, work and celebrate together, and are thus prepared for their time with us.
Teamspirit
The team spirit among the apprentices at OTTO is something very special. At OTTO, you will experience a helpful network that is strengthened over the years through many after-work events and trainee projects. Here, colleagues become friends.
Events and workshops
There are a variety of events and seminars for our apprentices. Whether it's a visit to the Hermes logistics center, personal and professional training as part of the OTTO Academy, or the Christmas party and other events organized by the apprentices themselves.
Corporate volunteering
During your training or your studies at OTTO, you can get involved in various projects and acquire additional skills. In addition to the trainee blog or the trainee job ambassadors, there are also projects such as GOODProject and InMigration. You can also become an inspirer at the Hacker School, as part of your training. This way, you can contribute your strengths everywhere.
