Although our digital marketplace initially started with just a few partners and products, it now comprises 17 million products and has over 6,500 partners on otto.de. However, anyone who assumes that our transformation is complete with the change to a platform is mistaken. We want to continue to grow and convince more and more consumers of our products and services.
Everyone at OTTO ultimately contributes to us achieving our desired positioning in the market. Opening up the platform to partners was the decisive step in preparing for the future in the long term. We don't just want to play along in the digital world: We want to actively shape it. That is why we are deliberately focusing our strategic direction on developing and expanding in-demand IT skills and see promising job opportunities in the area of (Gen) AI in particular.
