Katy Roewer wird Bereichsvorstand Service bei OTTO

Katy Roewer (39) becomes Member of the Management Board for Service on 1st June 2015 and will assume responsibility for Human Resources and Controlling. With this move she takes over from Petra Scharner-Wolff, who moves to the position of Otto Group Executive Board Member for Finance, succeeding outgoing Executive Board Member Jürgen Schulte-Laggenbeck.

Katy Roewer, born in 1975 in Neubrandenburg, holds a double major in Business Administration in German and French. She began her career as a consultant with the accountancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in Berlin.

In 2001 she moved to the area of Otto Group Controlling Shareholding, where she later headed the department and thus held controlling responsibility for the French 3SI Group, the EOS Group and the bonprix Group, among others.

From 2008 onwards, as Director of Group Controlling Shareholdings, she was responsible for the financial controlling of all Group companies worldwide – in particular for the Otto Group portfolio, M&A, Evaluation of New Business Models, New Foundations as well as Planning and Forecasting.

Katy Roewer is married and the mother of one child.
