Kaufoption, Kurzmiete, Kindermöbel: Das ist neu bei OTTO NOW
1. Just rent for a short time
The next summer vacation promises dreamlike photos, but the necessary reflex camera would only sit around in a corner afterwards? A 28-inch TV does the trick, but during the European Football Championship a beamer wouldn't be a bad idea? Some OTTO NOW products are now available for hire for just one month. "This allows us to offer our customers even more flexibility," David Rahnaward, Co-Founder of OTTO NOW says. An additional benefit of the short rental period: Anyone who is interested in buying a drone or virtual reality glasses, for example, is free to test the products in various versions with no obligation to buy them.
2. OTTO NOW introduces an purchase option
If you don't want to do without your rental product in the future, you buy it directly and then simply keep it. Customers receive an individual offer on request during the rental period - the rental payments already made are deducted from the purchase price.
3. Cooperation with Hülsta - children's furniture for rent
OTTO NOW offers around 1,000 different articles - mainly technical, household and sports equipment and, since December 2018, also furniture. OTTO's further investment in OTTO NOW has enabled the start-up company to significantly expand its product range once again this year. In cooperation with furniture manufacturer Hülsta, children's furniture such as changing chests, wardrobes and beds are also on offer for the first time. More products recently available are: Heavy-duty bicycles, punch bags and fans as well as lamps, carpets and gaming chairs.
4. New: Rental also possible for freelancers and entrepreneurs
In addition to expanding its product range, OTTO NOW is also targeting a new group of customers and opening up to business customers - who can rent the products at the same price as private users. The initial focus is on sole entrepreneurs and freelancers. "If there is interest and demand, we will increasingly tailor our offering to this customer group in future", Sören Nilsson says, also a co-founder of OTTO NOW.
