“Our aim is for Hamburg to become a digital metropolis”
#hamburgbessermachen - count OTTO in!
There’s no doubt that Hamburg is a very livable city. But there are parts of the city in which not everything is quite so good. That’s why ZEIT:Hamburg and the Körber Foundation launched the “Hamburg besser machen” project.
Interested Hamburg residents can now exchange ideas in pub discussions, in academies and on www.hamburgbessermachen.de and draw up suggestions for how to improve Hamburg together with moderators and ZEIT editors. “We want to use this initiative to promote dialogue between residents and to find problems in the individual districts with a view to developing initial approaches to solving them,” explained Kilian Trotier, Head of Department at ZEIT:Hamburg, during the Kick-Off event.
OTTO is one of the partners and supporters of #hamburgbessermachen. Why do OTTO and Hamburg fit together so well, what does the Hanseatic city do particularly well and what could be done better from the company’s point of view? The boss of OTTO, Marc Opelt, reveals all in the following podcast (german):
