Since August 1, 2012, an independent management team has been responsible for the future of the individual company OTTO. In their roles, they jointly drive the development of OTTO. But who are these four and what makes them unique?
Marc Opelt
Marc Opelt has been with the Otto Group for over 30 years. It all started in 1990, when Marc joined OTTO as a marketing assistant in catalogue marketing. Today, he is Chairman of the Management Board at OTTO and responsible for Marketing. We asked who is behind this career and what his time at OTTO means to him.

Andrea Becker
Andrea Becker has been responsible for Service, HR and Finance at OTTO since 2025. She contributes her valuable expertise in finance and corporate strategy to the further development of the company.

Dr. Michael Müller-Wünsch began restructuring OTTO's IT architecture and organization in 2015. He places great emphasis on innovation, which is why he also holds the position of CIO within OTTO's Management Board. He tells us why technology and progress are so important to him.

Dr. Boris Ewenstein
Dr. Boris Ewenstein joined the management team in 2024 as Member of the OTTO Management Board Retail and Marketplace. In this position, his aim is to continuously expand these central revenue pillars of Germany's largest online store.
