The OTTO headquarters in Hamburg

The Otto Group Campus in Hamburg-Bramfeld is the home of the Otto Group and office of the largest Group subsidiary companies: OTTO and bonprix. The company grounds covers 205,000 square meters, which is the equivalent of about 35 soccer fields. You can feel our campus feeling up close in this article!

Future Work starts here

On the Otto Group Campus, around 6,000 employees have enough space to work by themselves or in a team. A total of 27 buildings are available to them for this purpose.

In the newly opened OTTO headquarters in Building 4, we are bringing the concept of „New Work“ to life together: 3,000 employees can work here using the desk-sharing principle. We have dispensed with fixed workstations and individual offices - this also applies to the divisional board and senior management. There are think tanks and telephone booths with touchscreens for spontaneous meetings. Special workstations for programmers allow them to code together. Concentrated work is possible in acoustically shielded „audio libraries“ or in library areas. „Digital Campfires“ with 270° zoom cameras, double screens and highly sensitive ceiling microphones ensure hybrid meetings in the best audio-visual quality. Eight large social spaces with free drinks invite you to meet colleagues and have a coffee in between.

Building 4 – OTTO

In April 2024, the new OTTO headquarters in Hamburg was officially opened after a five-year construction period. At 25,000 square meters, the former warehouse building is now a state-of-the-art New Work environment. Thanks to the „activity-based working“ principle, employees can choose the workspace that suits them best for the performance of their tasks.

The new OTTO headquarters exudes a mix of tradition and modernity. In many cases, parts of the old warehouse building have been retained and brought into the present day. The central design element is the large, light-flooded atrium - an open atrium with a height of 38 meters.

360 degree tour Building 10 – Otto Group

Building 10 on the Otto Group Campus is home to the Otto Group's employees. Future Work is lived here and the working environment radiates this. With the 360-degree discovery tour, you can see for yourself which corners of the working world are right for you. Several 360-degree panoramas offer you an interactive experience. Just click on the round dots and find out more about the Otto Group's multi-space concept, desk sharing and working with Office 365. In the completely redesigned Building 10, there is an individually designed social space on each floor that can be used for small meetings, lunch breaks, stand-ups or simply for an espresso in the afternoon. Water, tea and coffee specialties are available here free of charge for all colleagues. Some Social Spaces have a football table, shuffleboard or Playstation for breaks of a different kind. On floor 1, a „beach kiosk“ offers small snacks and fresh French rolls.
